What we do not collect
You do not need a name, email, phone number, or password to play. There is no registration database for ordinary games.
What stays on your device
Local game progress, colour theme, and panel preferences are stored in this browser (for example chy-local-play keys and chy-theme). Clearing site data for chess.plyyard.com usually deletes them. Vs-AI also downloads the Stockfish WASM engine into this browser cache so searches can run offline after the first load.
Shared rooms
If you open or join a room, moves are relayed to the other player in that room so both boards stay in sync. Room codes are for this match only. They do not become a long-term social profile.
